.                          A need in maintaining track is the ability to dump rocks & etc along spots where floods have eroded.  The HVSRy has several locations where the Hocking River hits the roadbed at a right angle.  This causes erosion during the Spring floods, especially.   This air dump car uses brakepipe air pressure provided by a diesel, to tilt and  deposit its load on either side of the track.
